The Ventures US Performances - April 2007
The Ventures have returned to touring in the United States for the 2007 season with performances in Washington DC, NYC, and Westbury NY.The band just finished performances in April with Peter Noone and Herman's Hermits, Felix Cavilere and the Rascals, and Blood, Sweat and Tears. Also sitting in with the guys was guitar great Jeff "Skunk" Baxter at The Birchmere in Washington DC. Check with The Ventures web site for details and locations for May and June. The band will be returning to Japan for another sold out tour that will keep them touring internationally from July to September, 2007. |

The Ventures in Canada - April 21, 2007
The Ventures played to a "sold-out" audience at Casino Rama outside of Toronto Canada on Saturday, April 21, 2007. There were over 5,000 friends and fans in attendance for the 90 minute set. The band played a medley of their hits featuring Walk-don't Run, Perfidia, and Lullaby of the Leaves, and additional fan favorites from a collection of their best selling albums. They concluded their show with their ever-popular rendition of Pipeline to a standing ovation. The audience yelled for their encore number Caravan which provided the dynamic ending to a powerful Ventures' concert in Canada. |
